EU Shipment Policy – 2022

Shipments to EU Customers – 15/03/2022

Following the UK’s exit from the European Union, Dalesman has put new procedures in place for all shipments to EU accounts and addresses.

The ideology behind the new process is the the same as Dalesman’s company ideology: to provide the best level of service to our customers. In order to do this we have taken on as much of the new admin/costs as possible, meaning the your ordering and shipment process is exactly the same as it was pre-Brexit.

A summary of our EU shipping policy follows – this also forms part of the 2022 Dalesman Trade Account Terms and Conditions.

EU shipments will be Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), meaning Dalesman pay the Duty due in crossing the border

All import costs are covered by Dalesman in this process

EU shipments are subject to a 10% surcharge on the NET invoice price. This will show as a line at the bottom of the invoice

Carriage charges are as follows:

Orders of £500+ (NET invoice price) will be shipped carriage-paid
Orders of less than £500 – carriage is charged at £40

Shipments once they leave our warehouse should take 3-5 days to reach their destination.
